The Bar Diamond X Ranch Story

Bar Diamond X Ranch was founded in 2022 when Kate & Sean Butler bought their first set of cows-these initial 5 cows would be the backbone of the the ranch's genetics and beef program. Since then, the herd has grown substantially and has focused on producing premium American Wagyu & Angus beef.

In 2025 the family bought their current ranch, nestled in Battle Mountain. The moderate sized, 170 acre facility yields alfalfa hay, and pastures for the cattle. The family also focuses on raising foundation quarter horses. "We have three generations here on the ranch, and I could not imagine a better way to raise my family".

As first generation ranchers, Kate & Sean hope to inspire others who want to purse a career or ownership in agriculture. "The American people depend on our American Producers, they are the backbone of the country and American Agriculture is critical for our national security".
